Rise Against Big Tech

Rise Against Big Tech was born out of a need to challenge the monopolistic practices of large tech corporations. The idea is to promote and support open-source software alternatives to big tech, ensuring that people, organizations, and communities are aware of the importance of technologies that respects their rights, data, and digital sovreignity.

We encourage everyone to question the control Big Tech has over our digital lives, and to explore decentralized, transparent, and open solutions instead.

Big Tech has consolidated power over digital infrastructure, often at the cost of user privacy, software freedom, and collaboration. By reclaiming control through open-source tools, we can break free from walled gardens, invasive surveillance, and profit-driven software that doesn’t serve our collective needs. The campaign stands for collaboration, transparency, and the right to truly own our digital lives.

Who is Behind the Campaign?

Initially launched by our team, this campaign has a vision far bigger than us. The ultimate goal is for Rise Against Big Tech to become a decentralized, community-driven campaign, where organizations, co-ops, and individuals can take the lead in promoting ethical and open alternatives. We’re just one part of a larger mission. You can be too.
